Iran's Supervisory Board for Monitoring the Implementation of Macro Policy has considered the draft of Iran's joining the Terrorist Financing Convention (CFT), Majid Ansari, member of the Expediency Council of Iran, said.
A decision was made to thoroughly consider all details and carry out the voting during the next session, he said.
He said that before the meeting of the Expediency Council of Iran, a session of the Supervisory Board for Monitoring the Implementation of Macro Policy was organized.
The consideration of the agreement between Iran and Azerbaijan was also on the agenda of the Expediency Council session. However, this session was not organized due to lack of quorum, he added.
Ansari added that in some cases, the Assembly of Experts does not accept the parliament's decisions because it considers it contrary to the constitution or the Sharia law.
