Iran's export companies have a good experience in circumventing sanctions, and they can use that patterns in the new era, but it's not advisable to talk about these methods in the current sensitive situation, said Mojtaba Khosrotaj, the head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) told journalists.

“Today we are engaged in a real economic war, according to which state officials and firms should not reveal their policies and programs to present in the global markets,” said Khosrotaj.

“The sanctions have been in place since months ago and that we have been established our plans to face with sanctions since then,” he said.

"Non-oil exports grew by 13.5% in the first seven months of this year,” Khosrotaj added.

"Since the domestic market is a priority these days, we are moving with caution in commodity exports, as we restricted export of some items due to the internal market regulation,” he said.

Export restrictions were communicated with the country's customs authorities, he said.
