In the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), 167 industrial projects worth over 9.952 trillion rials (about $236.952 million) have been approved by the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Iran’s Markazi Province, said Mohammad Reza Hajipour, the organization’s chairman, Shata news agency reported.
He said that with the launch of these production units, 2,307 people received new jobs.
He added that implementation of 430 projects has been permitted since the beginning of this year. Investments for these projects are forecast at about $833.333 million, he noted. With the launch of these projects, 11,600 jobs will be created, he said.
“A 70 percent progress was observed in 413 projects, the implementation of which was permitted,” he noted.
