By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:

Iranian exporters can declare their products for customs offices 24 hours a day, said Ali Akbar Shamani, director general of the Export Department at Iran’s Customs Administration, Trend reports via Ibena.

He said that there is great potential for export of technical and engineering services in the country. Iran has a high position in exporting such services to neighboring countries, especially to the Persian Gulf countries, he noted.

Shamani said that customs procedures are carried out online in order to simplify the trade, adding that the customs authorities established online contacts with organizations and offices, and exporters are issued permission online.

“The Export Department at Iran’s Customs Administration has authorized the centers in 31 provinces to issue licenses for temporary withdrawal of technical and engineering equipment to production areas,” he said.
