The currency obtained as a result of the sale of oil is envisaged for the main and strategic products and it is necessary to use the currency obtained as a result of export to meet other needs of the citizens, Director General of the Central Bank of Iran Abdunaser Himmati said.
If the exporters pay the main part of the currency obtained as a result of export via the NIMA system, there will be more balance in the market, Himmati added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
The goals of manufacturers and exporters coincide with the Central Bank's objectives. The goods worth about 29 billion euros were exported during the past 9 months, Gulamrza Panahi, deputy director of the Central Bank of Iran, said.
The Central Bank welcomes the offers of exporters because the currency gained as a result of export is used in the country's economic turnover, Panahi added.
