According to the international organizations’ assessments, Iran is currently less dependent on oil revenues than other regional countries, Mohammad Reza Modudi, head of Iran's Trade Development Organization, said.
Although there is economic diversity in Iran, there are problems in various fields, Modudi added, Trend reports referring to Tasnim News Agency.
Modudi added that Iran has problems in renewal of industry and strengthening its innovation potential and hopes for positive changes in this direction.
One of the goals of Iran's economy is to develop science and technology, he said.
