The Infrastructure of the 2nd and 3rd nuclear power stations (NPPs) in Iran’s southern Bushehr Province will be completed by summer, Ali Akbar Salehi, Chairman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, told journalists, Trend reports referring to ISNA.
According to Salehi, construction work at Bushehr’s 2nd and 3rd NPPs are underway.
Salehi said that thousands of tons of concrete have been poured for the foundation so far, whereas the concrete for the infrastructure of the station reactors will be poured in 2-3 months’ time.
The chairman of the organization did not give additional information on the presentation of Iran's nuclear achievements on April 9.
It was stated earlier by the Atomic Energy Organization’s spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi that a presentation would be held on April 9 on 112 projects and products signifying Iran’s latest nuclear achievements.
Kamalvandi said that the achievements are in the fields of excavation, laser, fuel, electricity, etc.
