Iran’s Mapna company commissions first 42MW power plant

Iran’s Mapna company has commissioned the first 42 megawatt power plant in Zahedan city of Sistan and Baluchestan province, Executive Director of the company Abbas Aliabadi told reporters, Trend reports via Fars News Agency.

He said that it is possible to use fuel at the plant, along with natural gas.

He added that the company’s employees designed and built the modern turbine MGT40.

“This turbine has 99 percent reliability index and will be used at plants in the oil and gas sector,” he said.
