Iran Alumina Company, located in Jajarm city of north Khorasan province of Iran, produced 37,697 tons of aluminum hydroxide during the third month (May 22 to June 21) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), said Touraj Zareh, CEO of Iran Alumina Company, Trend reports with reference to the website of the Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
He said that the previous record was 37,426 tons in the period from July 23 to August 22, 2014. He added that most of the aluminum hydroxide is used for the production of aluminum oxide (alumina powder).
“Aluminum hydroxide is also used for the production of non-combustible products, ceramics, glass, metal and other products,” he said.
