Iran's exports via its Saveh county exceeds $100M

In the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), Iran exported goods worth $105.9 million through borders of Saveh county of Markazi province, Director of Saveh Customs Administration Alireza Karami said, Trend reports via IRNA.

During the reported period, 212,800 tons of goods were exported via the customs of Saveh, he said. Compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019), these exports decreased by 10 percent, he added.

Some of the main export goods were hydrocarbon products, reinforced bars, fruit juices, Karami said adding that the exports were supplied to Iraq, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey and the UAE.

During the reported period, 40,100 tons of goods valued at $86.4 million were imported to Iran via Saveh customs, he said.

The imports mainly included various industrial products, cooling and other equipment, and fruit juice packages, which were brought to Iran from China, Germany, the UK, Italy, Turkey and South Korea, Karami said.

Some 550 industrial enterprises operate in the Saveh county.
