About 6.51 million tons of products have been exported via customs in Iran’s Bushehr province during the three months (March 21- June 21) this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), without taking into account gas condensate, said Mansour Baziar, director general of Bushehr province customs administration, Trend reports via IRNA.
He said that the value of these products was $2.15 billion.
He added that exports of products increased by 34 percent in terms of weight compared to the same period last year.
“The goods exported through the province’s customs mainly accounted for petrochemical products, gas condensates, mining products, seafood and vegetable products,” he said.
He said that the products were exported to China, the UAE, South Korea, India, Brazil, Qatar, Pakistan, Iraq and Turkey in the three Iranian months.
He noted that more than 100,000 tons of products worth $258 million were imported through Bushehr province customs in the reporting period. This is a 47 percent decrease in terms of weight and a 53 percent decrease in terms of value compared to the same period last year, he said.
Such products as butter, dry tea, car tires, cars, bananas and spare parts for vehicles were mainly imported from China, New Zealand, the UAE, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Italy and South Korea, he noted.
