During first five Iranian months (March 21- August 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), production of iron ore at an extraction and processing enterprise in Pir Bakran city of Falavarjan county of Iran’s Isfahan province increased by 7 percent, Trend reports referring to the website of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
About 228,400 tons of iron ore pellets were produced at the enterprise during the reporting period compared to 213,037 tons in the same period last year.
According to IMIDRO, 229,114 tons of mining materials were extracted at the enterprise over the past five months. This is an 8 percent increase compared to the same period last year (213,083 tons).
during the five months, Pir Bakran iron ore facility shipped 449,076 tons to steel, metallurgy, cement and other companies. This shows an increase of 81 percent compared to the same period last year (248,303 tons).
Mining reserves of the enterprise are 65 million tons.
