Repair begins at Iran’s Tehran Oil Refining Company

Repair work began at Iran’s Tehran Oil Refining Company in order to increase safety of its production and processing units, Trend reports with reference to Shana.

The repair began at all units in the northern division of the plant on Oct. 12 and will last for 31 days.

The company added that some of the units of the southern division will be shut down from Oct. 18 for eight days, in addition to those in the northern division of the plant.

Six types of products are manufactured at Tehran Oil Refining Company. The company can process 250,000 barrels of crude oil daily. Tehran Oil Refining Company produces up to seven million liters of gasoline and 13 million liters of diesel fuel daily.
