Iran exports over 600 types of goods via Kermanshah province in 6-month period

In the first six months (from March 21 to Sept.22, 2019) of the current Iranian year, Iran exported 602 types of goods via the customs of its Kermanshah province, Chairman of Kermanshah Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Mohsen Darabi said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to the chairman, main export goods were tomatoes, household items, watermelons, potatoes, tomato paste and melons.

The goods were exported to 25 countries, Darabi said, adding that the leading export destinations included Iraq, the UAE, Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

During the reported six-month period, Iran's exports via Kermanshah amounted to $1.051 billion, in monetary terms, Durabi said. Bulk of the exports accounted to the shares of Parvizkhan ($575.4 million), Khosravi ($157.8 million) and Sumar ($151.8 million) customs of the province.

During the reported six-month period, Iran imported 15,000 tons of goods worth $31.5 million through the borders of Kermanshah province, Durabi said.

According to the chairman, 63 types of goods, mainly unprocessed alloy, tires, steering components and pumps, were imported via the province's borders.

The goods were imported from 13 countries, mainly from Iraq, China, South Korea, Germany and Taiwan, Darabi said.
