The UAE has released $700 million of Iran’s frozen assets, said Akbar Torki, a member of Velaie faction of the Iranian Parliament, Trend reports citing Iran News website.
Torki noted that the UAE has revised its relations with Iran.
“Currency operations between the UAE and Iran have improved and some Iranian exchange offices in Dubai have resumed their activity,” Torki added.
“The UAE is introducing itself as the Middle East’s Switzerland; however, trade, banking, energy, and aviation in this country depend on security and it knows that it cannot prosper without security,” the MP said.
