By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:

A 20-hectare warehouse is under construction in the Chabahar port of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, said Ali Rajabi, director for trade affairs of the Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone in the province, Trend reports via IRNA.

Rajabi said that at one time, all warehouses were full in the Chabahar port and there was no place to store products.

The director added that there is room for unloading cargo in the territory of 2 hectares in the port.

“A 50 percent discount is envisaged at the Chabahar port for trade income from over 15 percent of imported products, 60 percent discount in value added tax, 30-60 percent discount in fees paid to the Iranian Red Crescent Society and a 30 percent discount for cargo loading and unloading,” Rajabi noted.

The Tofficial said that last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019) goods worth $800 million were imported via the Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone, adding that this indicates a 50 percent increase compared to the previous year.
