Iran discloses volume of oil to be sold next Iranian year

The Iranian government plans to sell 500,000 barrels of oil per day next year (begins on March 21, 2020) at the price of $50 per barrel, Mohammed Huseyni, member of the plan and budget committee of the Iranian parliament, said.

“The Iranian government's plan for the oil sector in the budget for the next Iranian year (from March 21, 2020 through March 21, 2021) is clear,” Huseyni added, Trend reports referring to Fars news agency.

The member of the committee added that in accordance with the latest data, the government wants to further increase the export of oil up to 870,000 barrels daily.

Huseyni said that in accordance with the state budget for this Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, through March 21, 2020), 1.5 million barrels of oil were planned to be sold daily.

The member of the committee said that the state companies’ budget will be 13.8 quadrillion rials (about $328.5 billion) next year. This figure was 12 quadrillion rials (about $285.7 billion) this Iranian year.

Huseyni said that there will be a nine-percent-increase in the state-owned companies' budget.
