Iran Khodro (IKCO), an Iranian automaker headquartered in Tehran, will release nine new cars over the next three years, IKCO Vice President for Research and Development Kianoush Pourmojib said, Trend reports with reference to the company's website.

Kianoush Pourmojib noted that five models, Runna+, Soren+, Samand Optimal, Dena+, and Peugeot 207 Panorama, will be introduced in the upcoming Iranian year (to begin on March 21, 2020).

The vice president added that the sales of K132, Crossover K125, and Hatchback K121, as well as a Hybrid Dena, will be launched by mid-February 2023

Pourmojib underlined that the fact that IKCo has increased production amidst US sanctions, supports Iran's resistance against the sanctions.

The US imposed sanctions on Iran in November 2018 and expanded them in several stages.
