Twelve water supply projects were inaugurated by the commander of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) units in the same provinces, General Hamid Khorramdel, Trend reports via IRNA.
"These projects, in the fields of water supply to agricultural lands and creating flood dams, have been launched by the IRGC," said the general.
Calling the implementation of these projects as a suitable measure for the development of the agricultural sector, he said that considering the deprivation of the region, the government and the IRGC have to increase their efforts to develop the civil infrastructure.
Khorramdel went on to say that the connection roads are one of the main components of development.
“Considering the mountainous nature of these areas, the development of road infrastructure is necessary.”
He pointed out that one of the main priorities of the IRGC is to eliminate deprivation.
