Iran Air asks Boeing to fulfill its obligations

TEHRAN, Iran, April. 12

The CEO of the Iran Air Co. announced the sending of a letter to Boeing asking them to fulfill the obligations towards Iran.

Iran Air Managing Director, Alireza Barkhor, talked about efforts to revive the contract for the purchase of the aircraft from Boeing, Trend reports citing IRNA.

He went on to say that in that letter, that Boeing must behave in such a way that the Iranian people enjoy the benefits of suitable and safe parts, which are Iran`s inalienable right under the contract.

Earlier on Saturday, Iran’s Road and Urban Development Minister Mohammad Eslami said that Boeing should be held accountable for the delay in carrying out its contract with 'Iran Air'.

Eslami pointed out that Iran reserves the right to take legal action against Boeing for the delay in carrying out the contract with Iran.
