Iran increases investments in Mazandaran Province

The Vice President of Iran and Head of the Planning and Budget Organization said that so far the PBO has allocated over 40 percent more than the approved budget to complete the semi-finished projects in Mazandaran Province.

"During a visit last year, it was decided to complete 23 projects worth $129 million," Mohammad Baqer Nobakht told reporters during a visit to the Ramsar University of Medical Sciences, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"So far over $209 million have been paid," he said.

During a two-day visit to Mazandaran in August 2020, the head of the country's Planning and Budget Organization visited semi-finished projects in Mazandaran Province and allocated a budget to complete some of them.

Nobakht also said that the necessary funds for the implementation of the second phase of Ramsar Campus College will be allocated.

In addition to inaugurating projects in the cities of Ramsar, Tonekabon, and Nowshahr, the vice president is scheduled to visit several ongoing projects in the cities of Abbasabad and Chalous.
