Iran and Russia to sign tourism agreement

Iranian Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Handicrafts is expected to travel to Moscow to sign an agreement that would allow tourist groups to travel between Iran and Russia, Iranian ambassador in Russia Kazem Jalali Tweeted.

Minister of Cultural, Tourism and Handicrafts Ali Asghar Monesian will travel to Moscow in order to sign an executive document for agreement on canceling visa requirements for tourist groups, posted Jalali on his Twitter account, Trend reports citing ISNA.

"The following document would allow tourist groups from the two countries to travel by group visa to each country. Tourism is an important factor to understand people of the two countries and a strong step to expand interactions between Iran and Russia. Creating balance in improving fields of cooperation between the countries has been set on the Iranian Embassy's agenda," he noted.
