The process of using Iran's released foreign currency resources should be planned and immediately used to supply necessary commodities, said the Iranian President.
"The country's foreign currency resources that were unfairly blocked in different countries would have a positive impact on the economy," said Hassan Rouhani, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The process of using the released foreign currency resources should be planned and immediately and easily used to supply necessary commodities and basic material for domestic production in the country and international banking relations would be boosted to flourish production," he noted.
President Rouhani went on to add that It is important to use foreign currency resources for accelerating public vaccination via domestic production or import of vaccines in the fastest time.
"The economic damages of Coronavirus pandemic has caused an increase of global prices in all commodities especially necessary commodities while drought has reduced production of some products. Therefore the government had made necessary predictions and despite all problems including Coronavirus, the government would not let that the 13th government face problem in regard to supplying necessary commodities at the start of its ruling term," he stated.
