TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.21
Trend:
The investment commission in Tehran Chamber of Commerce has suggested the establishment of a joint bank between Iran and China, said the chairwoman of investment commission in Tehran Chamber of Commerce Ferial Mostofi, Trend reports citing ILNA.
The central banks of China and Iran can agree to manage banking interactions and approve the establishment of a joint bank, Mostofi noted.
The committee in Tehran Chamber of Commerce has made suggestions for possible cooperation as part of the Iran-China 25-year agreement in banking, infrastructure, energy, development of ITC projects, agriculture, health, and environment, she said.
Trade ties with China would be in favor of Iran, but it would all depend on the context of the 25-year agreement.
This is not the first time Iran has been proposing to establish a joint bank with China, considering its strong ties with this country
