Iran to use startups for food security

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter is to boost startups and innovative plans in agriculture and food security, said the Managing Director of Khatam Power Holding Mohammad Rostami, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

"Knowledge-based agriculture would lead to an effective approach for boosting food security. Khatam Headquarter is seeking to support the domestic needs via knowledge-based activities," he said.

Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter and Iran National Innovation Fund have held the first innovative food security event on Sunday that is attended by startups and knowledge-based companies.

The event was aimed to provide innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture and promote the country's food security.
