Iran increases value of non-oil exports to France, but loses volume

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. In total, Iran exported 797 tons of non-oil products worth $2.62 million to France, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), Trend reports.

As reflected in the report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the non-oil exports increased by 19.3 percent in value, while decreasing by 26.9 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.

So, Iran's non-oil exports to France stood at 1,090 tons worth $2.19 million in the same period last Iranian year.

Over 4 months, Iran mainly exported carpets, agricultural products including dates, pistachios, saffron, dried fruits, etc. to France.

Alone in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2023), Iran exported 67.5 tons of non-oil products worth $582,000 to France.

Overall, Iran exported about 45.8 million tons of non-oil products worth $15.9 billion within the first 4 months of the current Iranian year.

This is a decrease of 7.97 percent in value and an increase of 28.6 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
