BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 4. The crude oil processing capacity of Iran's Abadan Oil Refining Company has expanded by 100,000 barrels per day due to works carried out during the last two years, Executive Director of Iran's Abadan Oil Refining Company Hakim Qhayem said, Trend reports.
According to Qhayem, Iran's Abadan Oil Refining Company has raised its daily crude oil processing capacity to 500,000 barrels and the enterprise is working to become the region's largest oil refining enterprise. Thus, Abadan Refining Company wants to boost its daily refining capacity to 630,000 barrels in two years (March 21, 2025–March 20, 2026).
The corporate official stated that local production and labor are important in increasing the company's refining capability.
