BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 16. Iran is interested in exporting natural gas to Pakistan, Iran's Deputy Oil Minister and Executive Director of the National Oil Company Iran Mohsun Khojastmehr said, Trend reports.

Khojastmehr affirmed that, as per the agreement between Iran and Pakistan, Iran is obligated to export gas to Pakistan.

The Deputy Oil Minister further elaborated that representatives from both nations are presently engaged in ongoing negotiations regarding gas exports, with both sides demonstrating a strong commitment to facilitating the export of Iranian gas to Pakistan.
