Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu says Beijing is keen to work with other nations to revive talks on Iran's nuclear program, Press TV reported.
"We are ready to work with the other parties to promote the early resumption of dialogue and negotiations to seek a comprehensive, enduring, and proper settlement of the Iranian nuclear issue," AFP quoted Jiang as saying on Tuesday.
Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister He Yafei will attend a meeting of the 5+1 group in Germany later today (Wednesday) which will bring together senior diplomats from the five permanent members of the UN Security Council -- the US, Britain, France, China, and Russia -- plus Germany together to discuss Iran's nuclear program.
Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jaili, declared on Tuesday that Iran is ready to cooperate with Western countries to address "common concerns [about its nuclear program] in the international arena".
The IAEA has announced in all its reports that no evidence has been found to indicate that Tehran's nuclear program has deviated from its peaceful path.
Tehran has repeatedly declared that its nuclear program is being pursued within the framework of IAEA regulations.
