Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have come to terms on taking 7 practical steps by May 15, the Mehr News Agency quoted Iran’s representative to the IAEA Reza Najafi as saying on February 9.

Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have come to terms on taking 7 practical steps by May 15, the Mehr News Agency quoted Iran's representative to the IAEA Reza Najafi as saying on February 9.

The two sides held a meeting in Tehran on Feb. 1-2, in which they reviewed progress of work based on the plan of action which was agreed upon three months ago, he added.

The second day of talks between representatives of Iran and the IAEA finished on Feb. 9, ISNA reported.

Reza Najafi led the Iranian delegation, while the IAEA delegation was led by Tero Varjoranta, deputy IAEA director general.

The first day of talks between the two sides was held in two morning and afternoon sessions in the Iranian capital on Feb. 8.
