The negotiations on Iran's nuclear program are continuing in a serious and tense atmosphere, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marzieh Afkham told reporters, RIA Novosti reported.
The final round of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program started in Vienna on Nov.18.
The P5+1 [Russia, the US, UK, France, China and Germany] and Iran will try to overcome the remaining disagreements, especially on the procedure of lifting the sanctions.
The previous meeting held on Iranian nuclear program in Oman on Nov.11, didn't bring the expected progress, prompting speculation about the possible postponement of the timeframe for developing the agreement after the current deadline - Nov.24.
The sides agreed to reach a long-term agreement outlining the guarantees for peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program in exchange for a gradual relief of sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic by November 24.
