By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani has appreciated Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for his substantial role in progress of the nuclear talks.

"After two decades of attempt in the nuclear issue, which was a symbol of scientific morale of Iranians, the role of Ayatollah Khemenei was very effective and impelling," IRNA quoted Larijani as saying Oct. 26.

"I thank the supreme leader for sending a letter to the president, which showed the way timely, comprehensively, and precisely," Larijani said.

"During different administrations and under different circumstances, the leader gave hope and provided support for progress of the nuclear issue and resistance of the nation against the West's oppression."

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani released a letter Oct. 22, assuring the Islamic Republic's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that the nuclear deal with P5+1 will be implemented on the basis of Khamenei's orders.

The letter came a day after Khamenei ordered the government to implement the nuclear deal under his conditions.

In his letter which was published on the official website of the leader Oct. 21, Khamenei announced he confirms the Supreme National Security Council's decision on implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), achieved on July 14, under certain conditions which are listed in the letter.

Meanwhile, during a meeting on Friday with Ayatollah Khamenei, some participants chanted slogans, criticizing Larijani on his role in the rapid approval of the JCPOA by the parliament.

In reaction to the slogans, Hossein Sobhani Nia, vice chairman of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, called for identifying and dealing with the main elements behind such measures.
