Iranian government approved to increase the number of applicants that would receive subsidies that were previously not included in the plan.
Following the new approval, individuals that miss registering for subsidies, new people that considered qualified by the instructions of the Ministry of Labour and Social welfare, and individuals that previously dropped the request would receive subsidies, Trend reports citing ISNA.
The Ministry is obligated to prepare the possibilities to respond to demands of applicants such as an online system to register claims and provide it to targeted subsides organization.
The government plans to provide subsidies to those individuals that left behind in the early subsides registration plan in 2015 while the budget plan for the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021) did not obligate the government to implement this issue.
The number of current recipients of subsidies includes around 95 percent of the country's population that is about 78 million people.
