The information spread by The Times newspaper about holding secret negotiations between Iran and the US in Baku is untrue, the head of the World Trade Center of Tehran Mohammad Reza Sabzalipour told Trend on Nov.10.
Sabzalipour said the newspaper has also reported that he headed the Iranian delegation during the talks, adding that this report is untrue as well.
The head of the World Trade Center of Tehran added that he has no information about the possibility of opening the US trade mission in Tehran about which the newspaper reported.
The US embassy in Azerbaijan also denied the information about holding these talks and added that the rebuttal was published in the same article of the newspaper as well.
