Iranian FM denies discussing domestic issues with foreign officials
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif denied reports by some western media that he discussed Iran's domestic issues with certain foreign officials.
He has slammed the reports about the contents of negotiations with his American counterpart as fabrications, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported Feb. 7.
Domestic issues were never raised with foreign officials during any of the meetings, he added.
He also said the rumors in this connection are sheer lies.
Quoting unknown resources, Reuters carried a story on Feb. 7 claiming that Iran's foreign minister has warned the United States that failure to agree a nuclear deal would likely herald the political demise of pragmatist President Hassan Rouhani.
