Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has left Tehran for Moscow.
Zarif will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to discuss mutual relations, expanding bilateral, regional and international ties in some spheres including the fight against terrorism and drug trafficking,' Iran's state TV, IRIB, reported Aug.17.
The report says that the sides would talk resuming nuclear agreement between Iran and P5+1, as well as the efforts for establishing the security and stability in the regional countries.
The Islamic Republic and the group 5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) reached a long-awaited comprehensive deal called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on July 14.
It's expected that the agreement will be implemented by the end of current year after being ratified in Congress and Iran's parliament as well as when the international Atomic Energy Agency confirms that Iran is cooperating with this UN body based on mutual agreement between Iran and IAEA, achieved simultaneously with JCPOA.
