Iran and Syria have called for the continuation of cooperation between Tehran, Moscow and Damascus in fight against terrorism.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad Nov. 7 met in Tehran to discuss latest developments in Syria, IRNA news agency reported.
The sides also examined the latest situation in Syria’s Aleppo city.
On Oct. 28 Foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and Syria attended trilateral talks on political solution to the Syria crisis besides a serious fight against the terrorist groups operating in the Arab country.
Zarif had earlier said Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be protected.
