Iranian intelligence ministry has disbanded a “terrorist group” in one of the country’s southern regions, a high ranking official said.
Hossein Zolfagari, Iranian deputy interior minister for security, has said that the intelligence ministry forces have confronted a four-member terrorist team in the evening on Nov 21, IRNA news agency reported.
According to the report, as a result of an armed confrontation, one member of the terrorist team was killed, three more got arrested.
The official added that the security forces seized explosives from the team members but he did not disclose any further details on the last night’s operation.
