Security forces of Iran’s presidential office shot a man who was trying to enter the office through its gates.
Iranian media outlets quoted Mohsen Hamadani, deputy governor of Tehran Province, as saying on Feb. 5 that a man wearing cerement and armed with knife wanted to pass the gates, but was shot in foot and injured.
Security forces opened fire at the person after he neglected warnings to stop, the official said.
The person is alive and an investigation is underway to identify him and the reason of his move.
