An Earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted the region of Doborji in Fars province, Southern Iran, on Saturday morning.
5.4 magnitude earthquake hits southern Iran

An Earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted the region of Doborji in Fars province, Southern Iran, on Saturday morning, Irna reported.

The Seismological center of Fars province affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the quake at 00:21 hours local time.

The epicenter of the quake was registered at 55.3 in longitude and 28.3 in latitude.

There has yet been no report on the possible number of casualties or damage to properties by the quake.
