A new report by Iran Juvenile Court says traffic crimes constitute the most frequently committed of juvenile delinquency types in the country.
This type of crime is followed by intentional assault, robbery, infliction of bodily harm, alcohol consumption, insult to people, vandalism, illicit relationships, criminal threatening, unauthorized entry and residency, alcohol trafficking, and narcotics trafficking, Mehr news agency reported May 11.
Elsewhere, Qavam Forouzan, the superintendent of Shahid Fahmideh Judicial Complex said Iran's -18 population jumped from 23 million in 2011 to 25 million last March.
He said the capital city of Tehran alone is home to three million of that population.
Forouzan added that in the Iranian calendar year falling on March 2014-March 2015, 256 thousand abortions were detected in the country, only 6 thousand of which were legal.
