DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN ON INDEXATION OF INSURANCE PART OF LABOR PENSIONS
In order to strengthen social protection of pensioners in the Republic of Azerbaijan and in accordance with Article 29.2 of the Law on Labor Pensions of the Republic of Azerbaijan I decree:
1. In accordance with consumer price index for 2008 to charge the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan Republic with:
1.1. Increasing the insurance part of all types of monthly employment pensions;
1.2. Indexing pension capitals embodied in insurance part of personal accounts in the system of personal accounts.
2. To charge the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan with resolving issues arising from this Decree.
DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN TO IMPROVE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE OF AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC
In order to ensure public control and regulation in the areas of management of the state budget and public debt, the Treasury, public finance, insurance business, accounting in the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with modern requirements and to improve the work of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan I decree:
1. To establish State Debts Management Agency, State Financial Control Service and State Insurance Control Service of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
2. To establish State Treasury Agency of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic on the basis of the Head State Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
3. To establish State Service for Control of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic on the basis of State Assay Office of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
4. To approve structure of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
5. To approve Charter on the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
6. To approve Charter on State Treasury Agency of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
7. To approve Charter on State Debts Management Agency of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
8. To approve Charter on State Financial Control Service of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
9. To approve Charter on State Insurance Control Service of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
10. To approve Charter on State Service for Control of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
11. The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic is in charge of:
11.1. establishing number of employees of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic and resolve issues connected with financial provision of formations in the Ministry;
11.2.preparing and submitting to the President of Azerbaijan Republic to bring acting legislative regulations into conformity with the Decree;
11.3. bring legal-normative regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic and relevant agencies of executive power into conformity with the Decree and inform the President of Azerbaijan Republic of it.
11.4. resolve other issues arising from the Decree.
12. The Decree by the President of Azerbaijan Republic dated February 4, 2000, No 271 on approval of Charter on the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic (except items 3) and the item 3 of the Decree by the President of Azerbaijan Republic dated October 4, 1995, No 398 on establishment of State Treasury in Azerbaijan Republic are considered invalid.
13. The Decree takes effect from day of publication.
