Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers changes excise duty rates on oil products
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has decided to make changes to the excise duty rates on oil products.
According to the decision, the excise tax rates on AI-95 gasoline decreased by 2.5 times, for AI-92 and AI-80 gasoline - twice, diesel fuel - by 3.2 times, jet engine fuel - by 7.6 times, naphtha - 5.4 times, liquefied gas - three times, motor fuel (DT-36) - seven times, motor fuel (DT-20) - 5.2 times, furnace oil - 49 times and bitumen (BN-60/90, BNB-60/70) - 16.4 times.

"Electronic Court" Information System to be created in Azerbaijan
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on creation of "Electronic Court" Information System.
The move is aimed at ensuring transparency in justice system, increasing the effectiveness of the protection of human rights and freedoms, and speeding up the process of applying modern information technologies.
President Ilham Aliyev entrusted the Ministry of Justice and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to deal with the tasks arising from the Order.
The Cabinet of Ministers shall, under the Order, draw up - in three months - its proposals related to amendments to be made to the legislation with the aim of ensuring the activities of "Electronic Court" Information System.
