Intigam Babayev: "Türkvizyon" song contest to provide opportunity to identify young talent in Turkic world

Carrying out of the "Türkvizyon" song contest will provide an opportunity to identify young talent in Turkic world, told Trend Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Intigam Babayev.
According to him, this contest is a new ring.
"We are very pleased that Azerbaijan was awarded first place in the contest. This is our victory. I want to congratulate all of you. I also believe this song contest will reach its goal. I would say it has already reached it", - Babaev said.
According to him, this contest is of a particular importance in terms of the moral influence on the young generation. "Türkvizyon" song contest provide young people with the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of the Turkic world.
Türkvizyon Song Contest 2013 (Turkish: Türk Dünyası Türkvizyon Şarkı Yarışması 2013) is the first edition of the Türkvizyon Song Contest. The contest is an inaugural competition, and was held in Eskişehir, Turkey.
Twenty-four countries and regions which have either a large Turkic population or a widely spoken Turkic language participated in the contest.
The semi-final held on December 19.
On December 21, Farid Hasanov from Azerbaijan won the inaugural edition of "Türkvizyon" song contest with his song "Yaşa".
