An increase in RON-95 gasoline price in Azerbaijan will not lead to an increase in car prices, Azerbaijani real estate expert Vagif Huseynov told Trend.
“If RON-92 gasoline price increases, it would immediately affect the car market,” Huseynov added. “But as RON-95 gasoline is not widely used in the country, the market won't be affected.”
As for the situation in the car market, Huseynov stressed that presently, the activity is almost at zero level as there are no buyers on the market due to the quarantine and the supply does not meet the demand.
Usually, in this case, the prices must fall but presently, prices neither decrease nor increase as there are no buyers, he said.
On Jul.1, 2020 price of Premium Euro-95 gasoline slightly increased in Azerbaijan by 0.1 manat (5.9 cents).
The increase is the result of global price growth for Premium Euro-95 gasoline, since Azerbaijan imports this type of fuel from abroad
