A group of social activists gathered outside the Central Election Commission which is due to summarise and make a decision on the results of voting in the presidential election, guided by the reports on the results of voting at polling stations and a recount, 1in.am reports.

A group of social activists gathered outside the Central Election Commission which is due to summarise and make a decision on the results of voting in the presidential election, guided by the reports on the results of voting at polling stations and a recount, 1in.am reports.

The participants chant the following slogans: 'The highest level of crime is electoral fraud', 'Central Election Art Gallery', 'Came here to beat the numbers - what for, Sargsyan?', 'The CEC and the OSCE should not recognise the criminal-oligarchic regime and fake elections' and 'You are an empty space'.

The number of protesters is increasing.

Presidential elections were held in Armenia on Feb.18. Incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan won the presidential elections with 58.64 per cent of the vote. The First Foreign Minister of Armenia Raffi Hovannisian ranked second winning 36.75 per cent, while former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan ranked third after receiving 2.15 per cent of the vote.
