Serzh Sargsyan accused of lying in military pantheon
In connection with the 22nd anniversary of formation of the Armenian Army, President Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by senior officials visited the Erablur military pantheon, Epress.am website reported citing Galatv.am.
Here a group of citizens dissatisfied with the amount of military pensions came up to the president. Sargsyan said that the pensions were increased. Relatives of the dead servicemen however, said that there was not any increase.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and speaker of parliament Hovik Abrahamyan also refused to hear the citizens' dissatisfaction. Chief of Armenian police Vladimir Gasparyan advised them to call the hotline of the structure headed by him.
Employees of the security service tried to prevent citizens from coming up to their chiefs.
