An Armenian-Belarusian joint venture for the production of agricultural products can be created in Gyumri.
The statement was made by the co-chairman of the Armenian-Belarusian interparliamentary cooperation commission, deputy speaker of the National assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov after a session of the commission took place Sept.13, the Armenian news agency ARKA reports.
He noted that the issue of opening direct flights from Gyumri to Minsk was also discussed.
The co-chairman of the Belarusian part of the commission, the deputy chairman of the House of representatives of the National assembly of Belarus Viktor Guminsky noted that very specific decisions were made at the meeting.
The Armenian-Belarus trade turnover in the first half of 2014 amounted to about $16.2 million, according to statistics.
