BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. Armenian banks promised the US to support anti-Russian sanctions, the US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy said, Trend reports via the Armenian media.
According to the media, nearly a month ago, Tracy held a meeting with the heads of Armenian banks, during which she demanded not to try to circumvent the Western sanctions and to refrain from helping Russia.
"The US appreciates Armenia's commitment to international sanctions and maintains regular contacts with representatives of the Armenian banking sector on this issue," the ambassador said.
