Georgia, Tbilisi / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / The Georgian people should recognize the results of the presidential elections in the country and admit the victory of Mikhail Saakashvili, Georgian human rights activist Sozar Subari said to journalists.

He sent a congratulatory letter to the newly-elected President.

"All the complaints about the elections should be considered. We should turn a blind eye on the rest which we fail to prove. We should recognize the results of the Central Election Commission and fight for further democracy," he noted.

In his letter Subari said that there is the power of fear and the feeling of injustice. "It is difficult for foreign observers to see that. I also will not be able to make that authentic. That is a feeling which is inherent in the society and we should remove it," he said and stressed that the people are scared to voice their thoughts.

"We do not have a free court; therefore, we do not have a fare court. When only 14 % of the people believe in court it is a disaster," he said. There are a plenty of people who do not agree with the reforms carried out by the authorities, but the main reforms are accepted by the people, he said.
